Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- Two cloves garlic, minced
- Two tablespoons of Baste Fusion Booster
- One teaspoon of ground cumin
- One teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until about 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary.
- Sprinkle the Fusion Booster, ground cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the cooked ground beef, and stir well to combine.
- Add tomato paste to the skillet and stir until evenly distributed.
- Pour beef broth or water into the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until the liquid has reduced and the flavors have melded together.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve the taco meat in taco shells or tortillas, and top with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, salsa, sour cream, and avocado.
