BASTE Smothered chicken recipe

Ingredients:  

-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts  

-1/4 cup all-purpose flour  

-1 teaspoon garlic powder  

-1 teaspoon smoked paprika  

-1 teaspoon onion powder  

-1 teaspoon BASTE Booster 

-1/2 teaspoon pepper  

-2 tablespoons olive oil  

-1 small onion, chopped  

-1 teaspoon minced garlic  

-1/2 cup chicken broth  

-2 tablespoons butter  

-1/2 cup heavy cream 

Instructions:  

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, BASTE Booster, and pepper. 
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Place chicken in the skillet and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until chicken is golden and cooked through. 
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes or until onion is softened. 5. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. 6. Reduce heat to low and add butter. Once butter is melted, add heavy cream and stir. 
  5. Add the chicken back to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Simmer for about 8 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
