Baste is made in North Carolina. Our headquarters is in Charlotte, NC.  Our fulfillment center is located in Smithfield, NC.

How is Baste made?

Baste Southern BBQ Sauces are FDA approved and made in North Carolina. We make our handcrafted bbq sauces in small batches, using all-natural, locally sourced ingredients that delight the senses. The proprietary combination of spices and fresh ingredients provides a flavor that ignites the taste buds and brings your food to life in new imaginative ways. Baste delivers the quality you want and the unforgettable flavor you crave.

When does Baste expire?

The expiration date is marked on the bottle. Unopened Baste can be stored in the pantry or cupboard. Once opened, please refrigerate, and use it within 90 days.

Can I use Baste as a condiment?

How do I use Baste Boosters?

Just like our sauces, Baste Boosters enhance the flavor of your food.

Grilling: Use Baste Boosters on meats before grilling. Pat your favorite Booster onto the surface of the meat, ensuring an even coating. Allow the Booster to sit on the meat for some time before grilling to let the flavors penetrate; a minimum of 1 hour to 24 hours (our preference!).
Smoking: Baste Boosters also work well with smoked meats. Apply the Booster of choice generously on the meat and allow it to sit before smoking. The slow cooking process allows the flavors to infuse into the meat and lock in "oh so much goodness!."
Roasting: Use Baste Boosters when roasting meats in the oven. Apply your Booster to the surface of the meat before placing it in the oven. The high heat helps caramelize the Booster, forming a flavorful crust. Also, consider cooking using a Dutch oven or a roasting pan covered with aluminum foil.
Marinating: One of our flavor methods is to create a paste by mixing the Booster with a liquid (oil, vinegar, etc.) to form a marinade. Apply the paste to the food and let marinate before cooking.
Seasoning Vegetables: Our Boosters are in no way limited to meats. Use them to add flavor to roasted or grilled vegetables. Toss the veggies in the Booster of your choosing before cooking.

Can I use Baste Boosters as a condiment?

Yes, you can use Baste Boosters like Salt & Pepper. Sprinkle on eggs, baked potatoes, french fries, potato chips, burgers - anything!
